FAQ
Quick answers to the most common sign-in issues. Use these steps first; then see the related article for full MFA options.
I’m locked out after too many attempts—what now?
You must wait the full 30 minutes before trying again. This timer cannot be shortened. You’ll also receive an email notification about the lockout.
How do I choose or switch to a different MFA method?
You can enroll a security key, a biometric, or another authenticator app as an alternative to Okta Verify. Follow the step-by-step options in Set up Alternative MFA Methods.
I am a Cloudbeds customer, why don’t I see the biometric or passkey login option when signing in to Revenue Intelligence?
This may happen if your biometric or passkey login (Touch ID, Face ID, or a security key) was first set up under an older domain or was never configured within your Cloudbeds PMS account. These login methods use a browser-based security standard called WebAuthn (Web Authentication), which links your saved credentials to the specific website domain where they were originally registered.
In simple terms: if you enrolled your biometric or passkey before Cloudbeds switched to the new signin.cloudbeds.com domain, your device won’t recognize it when you log in to Revenue Intelligence. You’ll need to re-enroll your biometric or passkey directly in Cloudbeds PMS to link it to the correct domain.
To fix it:
- Log in to your Cloudbeds PMS account using your regular Okta Verify method (push or code).
- Follow the steps in the article Reset Multi-Factor Authentication to reset your MFA setup.
- After resetting, you’ll be prompted to set up multi-factor authentication again. Choose Security Key or Biometric Authenticator and click Enroll.
- Follow the browser prompts to register your biometric method (Touch ID, Face ID, or Windows Hello) or insert your physical security key.
After completing the steps, your biometric or passkey will be linked to the correct Cloudbeds domain (signin.cloudbeds.com), and you’ll see the option when signing in to Revenue Intelligence.
